5 port terminals being established in Pakistan: Maritime Minister

The Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Syed Ali Haider Zaidi has said that work is underway for establishment of five port terminals in the country.

According to media reports, the Maritime Minister has expressed these views while addressing a ceremony at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lahore on Friday.

The Federal Minister further stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, is striving to ensure ease of doing business.

Ali Zaidi added that the maritime and shipping activity has reduced due to the novel coronavirus pandemic and decrease in imports.
