Actor Afzaal Ahmed passes away in Lahore

The renowned veteran Pakistani actor, Afzaal Ahmed passed away at Lahore General Hospital on Friday.

According to the administration of the General Hospital, actor Afzaal Ahmed was brought to the hospital on December 1st due to a brain hemorrhage. He died in Lahore after a brief illness.

According to the media reports, the General Hospital administration did not provide a separate bed to the legend, Syed Afzaal Ahmed. During the treatment, another patient was also present on his bed.

His manager Rizwan said that actor Afzal Ahmed’s funeral will be held tomorrow, and his sister has to come from America. While he has three daughters who are living abroad.

It is pertinent to mention here that the actor was confined to a wheelchair suffering from paralysis for the past 21 years. He surprised everyone by playing the role of a 50-year-old man at the age of 18 in Ashfaq Ahmed’s drama Uche Burj Lahore De (Caravan Sarai). He worked in Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto films during his 35-year career. He earned great fame in the 90s due to the essence of his excellent acting.

After suffering from a stroke, his tongue got stuck due to which he lost the power of speech and became disabled.
