Actress Naila Jaffri passes away after prolonged illness

The veteran Pakistani actress, Naila Jaffri has breathed her last on Saturday after prolonged illness.

According to media reports, the Pakistani was suffering from ovarian cancer for the last six years. She was valiantly fighting her illnes and also got treated for it but she again got sick in the last few days and remained hospitalized.

Naila Jaffri has performed a variety of roles and her roles in ‘Desi Girls’, ‘Thodi Si Khushiyan’ and ‘Aa Mujh ko Satana’ will always be remembered.

The actress was was quite vocal about social issues and human rights even in her illness. The Sindh’s cultural minister Sardar Shah has announced that the department would bear all her medical expenses after her video from a hospital bed had gone viral recently.

Celebrities from the industry and her fans took to social media to offer condolences over the death of the veteran actress.
