President Dr. Arif Alvi urged Pakistan’s High Commissioner-designate to Bangladesh Syed Ahmad Maroof to foster even closer ties between the two brotherly nations.
According to the media reports, the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi expressed his view while talking to Pakistan’s High Commissioner-designate to Bangladesh Syed Ahmad Maroof, who called on him is Islamabad today (Wednesday, September 27).
On this occasion, the President emphasized the need for increasing cooperation with Bangladesh in the fields of economy, trade, and culture. He said there is vast potential for increasing trade between the two countries.
Dr. Arif Alvii further stated that the two countries share a common religion and history and the high commissioner designate should strive to foster even closer ties between the two brotherly nations.
