Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz on August 14 she approved three models for the program.
The Chief Minister prevented the authorities from obtaining service costs from the plot owners on Sunday while chairing a meeting in Lahore today (Tuesday, August 6). As a trial project for the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” concept, model homes have been created. For the convenience of the public, she directed authorities to add living rooms to the model house map and offer toll-free numbers.
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) will create a dedicated program portal so that applicants may electronically submit their applications. According to Housing Secretary Captain (retd) Asadullah Khan, assistant commissioners’ and deputy commissioners’ offices are where you may get the program paperwork.

Interest-free loans will be available to plot owners with up to five marlas to build their homes. The ability to return the loan in manageable installments would be provided to the homeowners. Under the PHATA Ordinance of 2002, allottees of the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) will receive 3- and 5-marla dwellings in private projects.
As per the program, after purchasing a home through a private plan, PHATA allottees would have to make house installments for five years. To lower housing costs in private projects, the Punjab government will also offer subsidies. In any given city or town, about 70,000 plot owners would have access to loans. Similarly, an interest-free loan for home construction would be available to the owner of a site up to five marlas. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presided over the meeting, during which significant decisions were adopted.
