Arshad Nadeem – the star javelin thrower of Pakistan – advanced to the finals of the Paris Olympics 2024 Javelin Throw event today (Tuesday, August 06).
Arshad Nadeem had a huge throw in his qualifying round at the Paris Olympics 2024 that went above the 84-meter minimum qualifying line, putting him in the running for a medal. Nadeem’s first throw of 86.59 meters secured his place in the finals and demonstrated his exceptional potential right away.
Athletes making a minimum throw of 84 metres will cement their place in the final round where they will compete for the medal.

Pakistan sent a total of seven athletes and six of them have been out of their respective events. Pakistan’s best and final chance to win an Olympic medal is the 27-year-old. Nadeem qualified for the Olympics for the second time in a row after finishing in fifth position in Tokyo.
The final of the Javelin Throw event will be played on Thursday, August 8, at 11:25 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
