The concerned authorities has been directed by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan to initiate work on three hundred megawatt Balakot Hydro Power Project on priority basis.
According to media reports, the Chief Minister was presiding the first-ever meeting of Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization’s Policy Board in Peshawar on Thursday.
During the meeting, CM Mahmood Khan has called for starting energy projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to make the province self-sufficient in energy sector.
