CPEC attracts regional countries due to its economic, trade benefits: NA Speaker

Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has attracted a number of countries of the region due to its enormous economic and trade benefits.

According to media reports, the NA Speaker has expressed these views while addressing a seminar in Peshawar on Friday. He said that regional countries including Afghanistan have showed keen interest to become part of CPEC.

The Speaker said the government is committed to promote trade and business relations with neighboring countries including Afghanistan.

Asad Qaiser further stated that the CPEC project is a multifaceted project that would change the destiny of people of the region by ushering a new era of development and prosperity.

“Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is located in strategic position that would largely benefited from CPEC,” he added.
