Elections will be scheduled before April 5: Sheikh Rashid

Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the elections will be scheduled before April 5.

According to the details, former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid made these remarks about elections while talking to the media in Rawalpindi on Friday. He said the economy is in shambles and there is looting in street intersections.

The former Minister further stated that internal threats have arisen from the statements of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that the economic situation is already bad and such statements will make the situation worse.

“The Army Chief himself has said that the country is going through a critical period, economic and national security is important, I think we are going towards elections,” he said.

Sheikh Rashid added that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is making such statements in his desire to become a big leader and he himself will fall into the ditch.
