Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Iqbal Wazir also left PTI

The former provincial minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Iqbal Wazir also left PTI.

According to the media reports, the former provincial minister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Iqbal Wazir made the announcement during a press conference in Peshawar today (Friday, May 19th). He said that the PTI government made him the provincial minister but today he announces his separation from PTI without any pressure.

Iqbal Wazir further stated that he has shown loyalty to the party at every opportunity but the incidents that happened on May 9 were heartbreaking. I will announce the future political plan after consulting with friends, he said, adding that when there was an attempt of forward block in the party, he supported the party. He said he himself went to Bani Gala and Zaman Park to protect Imran Khan and he always proved his loyalty to the party leadership.

Wazir was elected as a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on a PTI ticket from constituency PK 111 North Waziristan 1 in the general elections.

It is pertinent to mention here that after Aamir Kayani and Mehmood Moulvi, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former advisor to Prime Minister during Imran Khan’s regime, Malik Amin Aslam announced to quit PTI yesterday. However, the former Member of the National Assembly and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Jai Parkash also parted ways with PTI. He was elected member of the National Assembly of PTI on a reserved seat.
