Governor Makkah hands over Kiswah to senior caretaker of Holy Kaaba

The governor of Makkah, Khalid bin Faisal has handed over the Holy Kaaba Kiswa to the senior caretaker of the Holy Kaaba Dr. Saleh bin Zain Al-Abidin Al-Shaibi on Monday.

According to media reports, the Holy Kaaba Kiswa have been handed over on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The reports further stated that the Kiswa is made of special natural silk that is dyed black. While the height of the Kiswa is 14 meters and consists of 16 pieces surrounded by a square shape of Islamic decoration.
