Govt decides to stop PTI Azadi March towards Islamabad

The incumbent government has decided to stop the haqiqi azadi long march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) towards Islamabad.

According to media reports, an important meeting of the political committee was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in which it was decided that all illegal activities would be stopped.

The Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has briefed the meeting on law and order situation and measures. The meeting was attended by Ahsan Iqbal, Marriyam Aurangzeb, Khurram Dastgir, Azam Nazir Tarar and Riaz Pirzada.

The meeting decided that action would be taken against those who disrupted law and order situation during the haqiqi azadi march of PTI towards Islamabad. It was also decided at the meeting that all avenues would be kept open for the public interest and law would be enacted on any kind of violence or provocation.
