The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar has said that the government of Pakistan has formulated a new textile policy which will be finalized soon.
According to media reports, the Planning Minister has made these remarks while speaking at a briefing of businessmen and industrialists in Faisalabad on Friday.
On the occasion, Asad Umar has said that in the second phase of the China -Pakistan Economic Corridor projects, we will upgrade our manufacturing sector on solid footing.
The Planning Minister has said while responding to a question that the entire textile industry is developing due to prudent economic policies of the government.
