Govt prefers to take opposition on board on all issues: FM

The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has given the expatriates their right to vote by introducing electronic voting machines (EVMs) for the next general elections.

This was stated by the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi while speaking at different functions during his visit to Multan on Sunday.

During his visit, the Foreign Minister has maintained that the democracy will be further strengthened while electoral system will become more transparent when all people at home and abroad will exercise their right to vote through EVMs.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi has expressed the confidence that government is bringing a programme to provide relief to people, affected by the effects of global inflation.

“PTI government prefers to take opposition on board on all issues of national importance,” he added.
