Hajj 2023 News: The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mahmood has hailed Saudi Arabia’s excellent arrangements for Hajj.

According to the Hajj 2023 News reports, Minister for Religious Affairs Senator Talha Mahmood expressed his views while talking to Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah in Makkah today (Monday, June 2023).

On this occasion, Senator Talha Mahmood apprised Tawfiq Al Rabiah about the arrangements and facilities provided to the pilgrims by the Pakistan Hajj mission. He said we have provided the best possible accommodation to our pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah. We returned 55000 rupees to each pilgrim for arranging their sacrificial animals.

The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs requested Tawfiq Al Rabiah to increase Pakistan’s hajj quota as Pakistan’s population has increased under the recent census. While counting on the benefits of the Road to Makkah project, he also requested the Saudi leader to extend this landmark project to Karachi and Lahore for the next hajj season.

Senator Talha Mahmood also highlighted the issue of relocation of Pakistan House in Madinah and said our mission should be to provide a new building in Markaziya.

During the meeting, Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said we are taking measures to reduce hajj expenses for the coming seasons. He said under our vision for 2030, the road to Makkah project will also be extended to other cities in Pakistan.  He also expressed the resolve to strengthen Pak-Saudi bilateral relations.
