India: Nine students committed suicide within 48 hours after results
Nine students committed suicide within 48 hours after the 11th and 12th class results came out in Andhra Pradesh, India.
According to the media reports, after the announcement of the exam results of the 11th and 12th classes on Wednesday, two other students also tried to end their lives.

The reports further stated that more than 10 lac students took the exams, the success rate in 11th grade was 61% and in 12th grade was 72%.
A 17-year-old student committed suicide by jumping in front of a train after failing several papers, while a 16-year-old girl committed suicide in her own home after failing some papers. An 18-year-old student committed suicide by setting a noose at home after failing. A girl ended her life by jumping into the river, while a boy committed suicide by consuming insecticide.
The Indian media said that the age of all the students who committed suicide is said to be less than 20 years.
