A company of United States, Exodus Intelligence believed that India used its software to spy on Pakistan and China.

According to Forbes, the Texas-based company said that India used its ‘zero-day’, security vulnerabilities that hackers can use to attack systems, to spy on Pakistan and China.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of Exodus, Logan Brown has said he believes after an investigation that India handpicked one of the Windows vulnerabilities from the feed—allowing deep access to Microsoft’s operating system.

Logan Brown further stated that the Indian government personnel or a contractor adapted it for malicious means.

It is to be mentioned here that researchers at Russian cybersecurity firm Kaspersky witnessed, earlier this year, a cyber espionage campaign targeting Microsoft Windows PCs at government and telecom entities in China and Pakistan.
