The prominent Indian actor, Asif Basra has committed suicide on Thursday. He was living in Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh and died in McLeod Ganj near a cafe.
The police has stated the investigation. Some people suggest that the actor was suffering from depression, however, the reason for the suicide is yet unknown.
For the last 5 years, the actor had been living in a rented house in McLeodganj with his foreign girlfriend.
The ANI has said in a tweet, “Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter.”
Asif Basra was an Indian television, theatre and film actor. He has worked in popular Bollywood film like ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’ and ‘Jab We Met’. He was best known for his role in the American comedy film Outsourced.
