Jammu and Kashmir monument inaugurated by President on Kashmir Day

Jammu and Kashmir monument has been inaugurated by the President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi in Muzaffarabad on 5th February Kashmir Day.

According to media reports, the Jammu and Kashmir monument has been constructed in memory of Kashmiri martyrs and their struggle. The Pakistani Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the President and the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, the Pakistani President has said that this monument will help our future generations remember the sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir. He said we will always remember the struggle and the sacrifices of Kashmiri people.

Dr Arif Alvi further stated that t5he history of Pakistan is incomplete until the liberation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He regretted that the promises made with the Kashmiris regarding their right to self-determination were not fulfilled by the international community. However, no power can stop the Kashmiris from getting freedom from the cruel Indian clutches, he added.

“The government of Narendra Modi is setting India on fire by pursuing hate based Hindutva policy,” the President added.
