The Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris has tested positive for the novel Covid19 but is asymptomatic and not considered a current close contact of President Joe Biden
According to media reports, the news of the Vice President Kamala Harris has been announced by the White House in a statement on Tuesday.

The press secretary of the US Vice President, Kirsten Allen said, “Today, Vice President Kamala Harris tested positive for Covid19 on rapid and PCR tests. She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from the vice president’s residence.”
Kirsten Allen further stated that Harris hasn’t been a close contact to the President Joe Biden or first lady due to their respective recent travel schedules. SHe said that Harris would return to the White House when she tests negative.
