Karachi: Female student tries to commit suicide in Jinnah University

A female student has allegedly tried to commit suicide in Jinnah University for Women in Nazimabad,​​ Karachi.

According to media reports, the police said that the female student has allegedly drank poison on the roof of the Jinnah University for Women Karachi and tried to jump.

The police further stated that the university staff spotted the girl in time and reached the roof and stopped her from committing suicide. The girl has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.

According to police officials, the girl tried to commit suicide as she was fed up with the domestic situation.
