Kishmala Talat – the young Pakistani shooter who previously clinched a bronze medal in the Asian Games – has secured qualifications for the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024 in shooting competitions.

According to the media reports, Kishmala Talat showcased an outstanding performance in the Asian Shooting Championship for women’s 10-meter air pistol in Jakarta. Kishmala qualified for the finals with a score of 575 points in the first round. She faced up against Eshs Singh of India for the gold medal in the final round, showcasing her extraordinary expertise.

The Pakistani shooter Kishmala qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with a quota and a silver medal. Razi Ahmed Khan, secretary of the Pakistan Shooting Federation, confirmed Kishmala’s accomplishment by saying that she has managed to get a spot in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Following GM Bashir and Gulfam Joseph, Kishmala became the third shooter from Pakistan to earn an Olympic spot.

It is to be mentioned here that Arshad Nadeem has also secured his spot in the Olympics not only in shooting but also in athletics, while Usman Khan’s standing as a qualified equestrian athlete is still solid.
