Mariyam Nafees Explains Why She Married So Young

The talented Pakistani actress and host, Mariyam Nafees revealed the reason behind marrying early in a talk show on a private channel.

According to the details, Actress Mariyam Nafees recently appeared in the show Had Kar Di with Momin Saqib. While talking about marriage in the show, the actress revealed the reason behind marrying early.

Host Momin Saqib asked, “You were nineteen when your mother started pressurizing you for marriage, is that true?

The actress replied, “Yes, it’s true, I don’t know but it is the concern of all the mothers that they start thinking about their daughters’ marriages even if they are in metric, my mother wanted me to marry early, also, she used to say, ‘do whatever you want after marriage’, but I didn’t want to marry because it was really hard for me to find the person of my choice whose wavelength matches with mine”.

While talking about her husband Aman Ahmed, Mariyam said that she married Aman because his moral compass is right and their fundamental values are co-aligned.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mariyam acted in many notable drama serials including Yaqeen Ka Safar, Kam Zarf, and Mohabbat Chor Di Maine. She has a good social media following and fans love to see her on television. She will soon be seen in Hum TV’s new drama serial Neem. She is happily married to Amaan Ahmad. They work together as well.
