According to the media reports, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has issued a directive today (Friday, August 30) to Deputy Commissioners of all districts to proceed with the notification of newly formed District Peace Committees.
The letter from the Home Department emphasizes the inclusion of representatives from all sects in the reconstitution process, ensuring broad-based participation.
