The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister, Imran Khan has said that Nawaz Sharif will disqualify him by appointing his own choice of army chief.
According to the details, Imran Khan made these remarks while addressing the PTI protestors at Sarai Alamgir through a video link on Tuesday. He said that constitutionally, Shehbaz Sharif has the power to appoint the Army Chief, but he will do what Nawaz Sharif tells him.
The PTI Chairman has said that democracy runs on morals and not on the force of sticks and guns. In Britain, Cameron lost the referendum and resigned, he said, adding that we have taken democracy from Britain and it is based on morality, here a fugitive was convicted by a 5-member bench, and a person who fled the country by lying made our decisions.
The former Prime Minister further stated that Nawaz Sharif’s only attempt is to get him out somehow by filing false cases. He said that Nawaz Sharif will only demand his disqualification from the person they appoint as army chief.
