The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government wants to end horse-trading in Senate elections, but the opposition parties are bent upon ‘Changa Manga’ political culture.

This has been stated by the Governor of Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar while talking to the media at the inauguration of a Water Filtration Plant at Jinnah Hospital in Lahore on Monday.

On the occasion, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that it was an open truth that horse-trading takes place in Senate elections.

Governor Punjab further stated that the opposition, in the larger interest of democracy, should support government legislation regarding open ballot in Senate elections.
