Pak vs Afg: Shoaib Akhtar – the former fast bowler of Pakistan – has said that Pakistan cannot afford to lose the match with Afghanistan in the World Cup 2023.

According to the media reports, the former Pacer termed today’s (Monday) clash between Pakistan and Afghanistan as a ‘crucial’ match of the World Cup 2023 as teams will land on the ground of Chennai, India in desperate need of a win.

The former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has said that Afghanistan is not a weak team they have a complete number of spinners and this match is a very crucial clash for Pakistan. He said that the crowd support, ground support, and spinning attack would favor Afghanistan. Pakistan cannot afford to lose from Afghanistan, he added.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Cricket Team began the journey of World Cup 2023 with victory over the Netherlands and Sri Lanka, but the last two matches gave the inverse results. Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi expressed optimism for good results in upcoming matches while admitting the poor performance in the last two matches.

The match between Pak vs Afg has started at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai at 1:30 pm. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.
