Pakistan achieves target of 1 million vaccinations in a single day

The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar has said that Pakistan achieved the target of one million vaccinations in a single day.

According to details, the Planning Minister has made these remarks in a statement on social networking website Twitter on Tuesday.

The Head of National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has said that 1.7 million vaccinations were carried out yesterday. He commended the performance of all the federating units to achieve this milestone.

Asad Umar further stated that Islamabad has become the first city in Pakistan with a population of one million or more to get fifty percent of its eligible population vaccinated with at least one dose.
