The British High Commissioner to Pakistan Dr Christian Turner has called on the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad on Friday.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister and British High Commissioner agreed to further enhance relations in all areas of mutual interest. Both sides also discussed bilateral and regional issues, including Afghan peace process in detail.
On the occasion, the Foreign Minister has said that Pakistan attaches special importance to bilateral relations with the United Kingdom (UK).
Shah Mahmood Qureshi also urged the international community to play its due role for the resolution of Kashmir dispute as per the UN Security Council resolutions.
The British envoy Dr Christian Turner commended Pakistan’s conciliatory efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
