Pakistan in contact with intl’ community to provide humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan: FM

The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan is in contact with the international community to provide humanitarian assistance to Afghan citizens.

According to media reports, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has made these remarks while talking to an eight-member delegation of Dawat-e-Islami, led by Haji Imran Attari in Islamabad on Friday.

On the occasion, the Foreign Minister has called on the world community for provision of immediate humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the delegation of Dawat-e-Islami has informed FM Qureshi that Dawat-e-Islami is a non-political organization which is actively involved in welfare activities all over the world.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi has appreciated the welfare activities of Dawat-e-Islami and said Islam teaches brotherhood and love.
