Pakistan, US expresses desire to deepen ties in areas of education, culture

The Federal Minister for Education, Professional Training, National Heritage and Culture, Shafqat Mahmood has said that the relationship of Pakistan and the United States (US) in education sector is best in the world and people of both countries are learning from each other.

According to media reports, the Education Minister has expressed these views during a meeting with US Charge d’ Affairs in Pakistan Angela Aggeler, who called on him Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, Both countries have expressed the desire to deepen ties through consistent engagements in areas of education and culture.

While talking about regional situation, the Federal Minister has said that stable Afghanistan is in our vital national interests and we shall extend all possible cooperation for lasting peace in Afghanistan.

Pakistan and US further reaffirmed their firm resolve to further strengthen their relations through consistent engagements.
