Pakistan's Covid19 ratio drops to lowest level in 10 weeks

The positivity ratio of the novel Covid19 pandemic has dropped to the lowest level in 10 weeks as Pakistan reported a 4.82% positivity rate on Tuesday after 2,253 new infections over the past 24 hours.

According to media reports, Pakistan had reported an 8.5% average positivity rate during the last 30 days. The total caseload of the country now stands at 905,852 as of today, according to the official figures provided by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

The NCOC has said that about 813,855 people have recovered from the novel coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan so far with the number of active cases in the country standing at 62,295.

The reports further revealed that the new cases are decreasing across the country but Sindh is reporting a spike in infections. The total number of patients in Sindh has reached 310,557 while 4,936 people have died from the Covid19 pandemic so far.
