Pakistan is not facing any pressure to recognize Israel, the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said, adding that Pakistan’s stance on Israel is clear, and we stick to it.
According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has stated this in a statement on Tuesday. He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have deep, historical and fraternal ties.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi further stated that a high level Saud delegation along with the Saudi Foreign Minister will be visiting Pakistan soon. He said that Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations are further strengthening.
India is using its land against Pakistan, he said, adding that India is training terrorists and sponsoring banned organizations.
“The EU DisinfoLab has unveiled India’s nefarious designs about Pakistan,” he added.
The Foreign Minister also reffered to the opposition’s protest campaign. He said the opposition’s narrative to bring the government under pressure has become ineffective.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan enjoys public support, therefore, why he should resign on the desire of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM),” he added.
