PCB appoints Shahid Afridi as Chief Selector

The former captain, Shahid Afridi has been appointed as the Chief Selector of the Pakistan Cricket Team by the PCB.

According to the details, this announcement of Shahid Afridi selection as Chief Selector has been made by the national cricket board in a statement on the social networking website Twitter on Saturday.

PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi announced the Interim Selection Committee. He said that Shahid Afridi will be the Chairman of the Interim Selection Committee while Abdul Razzaq and Rao Iftikhar will be the member and Haroon Rasheed will be the convener.

The statement said, “PCB Management Committee has appointed former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi as the interim Chair of the Men’s National Selection Committee. Other members of the panel are: Abdul Razzaq and Rao Iftikhar Anjum. Haroon Rashid will be the Convener.”
