The suspense of Peshawar Zalmi fans and the teasing of Zalmi owner Javed Afridi has come to an end as the franchise officially announced the Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç as part of the family.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Peshawar Zalmi has officially welcomed Esra, who portrayed the role of Halime Sultan in the famous Turkish drama series Dirilis Ertugrul or Ertugrul Ghazi, into its fold.

Peshawar Zalmi has shared a picture of Esra Bilgic aka Halime Sultan on their Twitter account in Zalmi gear and wrote, “We welcome Esra into our #ZKingdom, Brace yourself Yellow storm, a kingdom is about to be revealed tonight.”
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi also announced Pakistani actors Hania Aamir and Ali Rehman as brand ambassadors.
It is to be mentioned here that Esra gained her fame globally through her character Halime Sultan in Ertugrul Ghazi. She was the lead actress in the series and the series was released in multiple countries in regional languages. Ertugrul Ghazi was also released in Pakistan in Urdu dubbing after the then Prime Minister Imran Khan requested to on-air the drama series. Pakistani fans adored all the actors of Ertugrul Ghazi and expressed their love towards the actors on social media platforms. She has also worked with the Pakistani clothing brand “Khaadi”.
