The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan held a formal welcome ceremony in honor of visiting President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at PM House in Islamabad on Wednesday.
According to media reports, Imran Khan has received the visiting dignitary on arrival at the Prime Minister House. A smartly turned out contingent of the armed forces presented guard of honor to the President Emomali Rahmon.

On the occasion, the national anthems of both Pakistan and Tajikistan were played. The Pakistani Premier and Tajik President will lead their respective sides in the delegation-level talks.
The Pakistani Prime Minister and Tajik President will exchange views on deepening bilateral cooperation in diverse areas, including political, economic, trade, investment, energy, security and defence, culture, education and regional connectivity.
