The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi has stressed the need of bringing special and differently abled persons to mainstream with focus on their training in special schools.

According to media reports, the President has expressed his views while addressing the foundation laying ceremony of Al-Shifa Trust in Karachi on Tuesday.

On the occasion, Dr Arif Alvi has said that the incumbent government is providing monthly stipend of two thousand rupees to special persons under Ehsas programme.

President Alvi has urged the differently-abled persons to register themselves to benefit from the scheme.
