President UNGA lauds Pakistan’s efforts for peace, security in region and world

The President of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Volkan Bozkir commended Pakistan’s efforts for peace and security in the region and the world.

According to media reports, the UNGA President has expressed his views during a virtual ceremony organized by Pakistani Mission in the New York to mark Pakistan Day.

On the occasion, the Permanent Representative of China to the UN, Zhang Jun has said that his country is proud to be Pakistan’s Iron brother. He also appreciated Pakistan’s contribution to world peace and development.

In his remarks, the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the UN, Abdallah Y Al Mouallimi said relationship between Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are deep rooted and both the countries are determined to further flourish and strengthen their ties.

The Permanent Representative of Turkey to the UN, Feridun Sinirlioglu has said on the occasion that his country will continue to stand with its Pakistani brothers and sisters through thick and thin.
