President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari praised the efforts of Jordan in providing aid and assistance to Palestine.
According to the media reports, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his views while talking to Jordanian Ambassador Dr. Maen Khreasat, who called on him in Islamabad today (Wednesday, June 5). He said that Pakistan and Jordan have close brotherly relations and there is a need to further strengthen these ties. He also praised the efforts of Jordan in providing aid and assistance to Palestine.

On this occasion, the Jordanian Ambassador Dr. Maen Khreasat invited President Zardari to attend the conference on humanitarian aid in Gaza being held in Jordan on Tuesday. The President assured the Ambassador of Pakistan’s participation in the conference in Jordan.
Ambassador Dr. Maen Khreasat further stated that Jordan has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Brotherhood Foundation to provide humanitarian assistance in Palestine. He also conveyed a felicitation message to Asif Ali Zardari on behalf of the Jordanian King on his election as President of Pakistan.
