The incumbent government has approved projects of one thousand billion rupees for construction sector which will generate economic activity worth 4,100 billion rupees.
This was stated by the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib while addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday.

On the occasion, Farrukh Habib has said that this investment will create seven hundred thousand new jobs. He said projects of 373 billion rupees have been approved in Punjab, 74 billion rupees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 267 billion rupees in Sindh.
The Minister further stated that twenty thousand housing units under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme have been completed whereas forty five thousand houses are under construction.
“The incumbent government is working on digitization of land record to end corruption and illegal occupation on state land,” he added.
