PSL8: The fast bowler of Multan Sultans team, Shahnawaz Dahani has been ruled out of the rest of the Pakistan Super League Season 8, and Muhammad Ilyas has replaced him.

According to the details, Shahnawaz Dahani was ruled out of the PSL8 due to a fracture in his index finger. The spokesperson of Multan Sultans confirmed that the young pacer was hit on the finger during their match against Lahore Qalandars.

The reports further stated that the Multan Sultans could replace Shahnawaz Dahani with West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, however, the franchise has preferred Ilyas over the West Indies all-rounder.

Multan Sultans began their campaign on February 13 against Lahore Qalandars. Mohammad Rizwan-led Sultans had fallen short by just one run in the inaugural game of the tournament in Multan.

It is to be mentioned here that Dahani is a permanent feature of the Multan team and has bagged 55 wickets in 41 T20 matches over the course of his career.

The third match of Pakistan Super League Season 8 is to be played between Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators in Multan today. The match between Multan Sultans vs Quetta Gladiators will start at 06:00 pm Pakistan Standard time.
