PTI MNA Javaria Zafar files case against her husband for shooting her

PTI MNA Javaria Zafar Aheer — who married Haider Ali six months ago — filed a case against her husband for allegedly shooting her.

According to media reports, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis Javaria Zafar Aheer has filed a complaint at Islamabad’s Women Police Station against her husband Haider Ali for threatening to kill her family after she asked for a divorce over a minor altercation.

The Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis has said that her husband held a gun to her head and shot but the bullet hit the wall.

The Islamabad police has registered a case on PTI MNA’s request and initiated the proceedings. However, no arrest has been made so far.
