Police authorities filed the accusations on Monday under several laws, including the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) of 1997. According to officials, the initial FIR was filed at the Taxila police station. It accuses Imran Khan of directing Aleema Khan to deliver a public statement about the upcoming November 24 protests. Aleema allegedly delivered this warning through a video broadcast on electronic media on November 19.
Bushra Bibi is also accused of instructing PTI members of the National and Provincial Assemblies (MNAs and MPAs) to form groups of 5,000 to 10,000 protesters.
