The Provincial Minister for Education, Murad Raas has announced that the winter vacations for schools — public and private — across Punjab from December 23 to January 6, 2022.
According to details, the Education Minister for Punjab has made the announcement in a statement on social networking website Twitter on Friday.
In the tweet, Murad Raas wrote, “All Public & Private Schools of Punjab to remain closed for winter vacation starting December 23rd, 2021 to January 6th, 2022.”

Murad Raas also advised the masses to get vaccinated and follow government-mandated SOPs, as the new Covid-19 variant Omicron has also emerged in Pakistan.
It is to be mentioned here that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has also decided January 3, 2022, the commencement of winter vacations of the educational institutions across the country.
NCOC finalised the date on Friday during a meeting headed by the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar.
