The Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex (QHAMC) has celebrated World Diabetes Day on Saturday.
According to details, Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex and Nowshera Medical college MTI in collaboration with Getz Pharma has celebrated World diabetes day and also organized awareness walk under the premises Hospital.
At the end of the awareness walk, Dean of Nowshera Medical College Professor, Dr. Mohammad saqib Qureshi and Hospital Director Dr. Mohammad Arif khan stated that celebrating world’s diabetes day is very important because diabetes is becoming epidemic due to unawareness.
Due to diabetes , disease relating to heart veins, eyes, kidneys have become common.
He further said that making people aware can help them to get rid of diseases like diabetes
“If people regularly take exercise and take care of the diet would also help them to control diabetes,” Professor Dr. Mohammad saqib Qureshi said.
On this occasion, Gatz pharma’s representatives, administration staff, doctors, nursing staff, paramedics and medical college students also take part in walk.
