Ramadan 2023: PM directs to minimize load-shedding during holy month


Ramadan 2023: The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif has directed to minimize the load-shedding of electricity during the holy month of Ramadan this year.

According to the details, the Prime Minister made the remarks about Ramadan 2023 load shedding while chairing an important meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday regarding transmission of power and load management in the summer season.

PM Shehbaz Sharif directed to improve the power transmission system and take appropriate measures regarding the load management during summer. He instructed that all departments concerned should have a solid and comprehensive plan before the advent of summer season.

The Premier further stated that it is a welcoming sign that share of local fuel and alternative resources is continuously increasing in country’s energy mix for power generation. He also directed for taking immediate steps to make Haveli Bahadur Shah Power Plant fully operational.
