Road safety principles can save lives: Motorway Police

The National Highways Motorway Police organized a road safety seminar at Khushal Khan Khattak Library, Akora Khattak on Tuhrsay.

The Deputy inspector general of police (DIG Motorway North Zone), Ashfaq Ahmed was the chief guest at the seminar, while other guests included Sector Commander Shah Asad Khan, Assistant Commissioner Azhar Haroon, Prof. Maulana Muhammad Ilyas, Principal Muhammad Israr, motorway police officers and a large number of students of Model High School and College.

The theme of the seminar was Road Safety Everyone’s Responsibility. The seminar started with recitation from Holy Quran followed by a detailed presentation on Road Safety by the Motorway Police. The management of the college appreciated and thanked the Motorway Police.

Addressing the seminar, DIG Motorway Ashfaq Ahmed has said that by following the principles of road safety, we can save precious lives.

Asfaq Ahmed gave a special prize of Rs 10,000 to college student Qandil for taking the first position in the board.
