Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has directed that the issue of Roosevelt Hotel should be handled in the best national interest, fair and most transparent manner.
According to media reports, the Adviser stated this while chairing a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet in Islamabad on Thursday.
Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has said that all stakeholders including Secretary Aviation should be included in every discussion of the Roosevelt Hotel issues. He said all matters shall be resolved in a manner that is only in favor of the country and not benefitting any party or person.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved the technical supplementary grant equivalent to 252.382 million rupees for the discharge of liabilities related to M/S Karkey arbitration.
