Salman Bhojani – A Pakistani-American – has secured a second term in the Texas State Assembly, winning unopposed.

According to the media reports, Pakistani-American Salman Bhojani represented District 92 as a Democrat. He hails from Karachi. He first assumed office on January 10, 2023. In the 2022 election, Bhojani defeated Republican opponent Joe Livingston by 20,182 votes to 14,610. This year, he ran unopposed within his party, maybe due to his previous strong performance.

Bhojani, who graduated from the University of Texas in Dallas and earned a law degree from Southern Methodist University, has worked as an attorney and a city council member. It is also worth mentioning that no Republican challenged him in the most recent election, allowing him to win unopposed.
