The senior actor and director of Bollywood industry, Satish Kaushik, who always spread smiles through his on screen and off screen personality, passed away this morning due to a heart attack at the age of 66.
According to Indian media reports, Actor Anupam Kher announced the death of his close friend while tweeting on the social networking website Twitter. He said that director Satish Kaushik was at a friend’s residence in New Delhi when he complained of heart trouble, on which he was taken to the hospital where he suffered a heart attack.

Earlier in another tweet, Anupam Kher wrote that he was shocked to hear about the sudden death of director Satish. He further wrote that ‘I know that death is a bitter reality but I never dreamed that I would have to write about my best friend Satish that a friendship of 45 years suddenly ended. ‘Stop’ will appear. Life will never be the same without you, Satish.
After hearing the news of the sudden death of the actor, many artists of the Bollywood industry were saddened and expressed their condolences to the family on the death of Satish Kaushik.
